Havoc ensues after a chain reaction crash during the "Ride Of The Century" in Saint Louis, MO after Stuntaz turn into Crashaz.
Insane huge highway motorcycle pile up accident at Ride Of The Century ROC 2014 in Saint Louis, MO. Street bike stunt rider riding wheelie on the highway drifts a crossed two lanes of traffic into another motorcyclist causing an epic motorcycle crash that resulted in multiple motorbike riders crashing which resulted in a large motorcycle pile up on the freeway. There were more than 6 riders that went down from this insane wreck. The initial motorcycle accident started a domino effect of total mayhem on the highway shutting down all 4 lanes of traffic with multiple crashes caused from the first two riders going down. Ride Of The Century or ROC is an annual event that takes place over a 3 day period in September. Extreme freestyle street stunt bike riders travel from around the United States an as far away as Europe to take place in the street ride. Thousands of motorcycles take part in this gathering to either perform or watch street bike stunts on the highway. Many of the top street motorcycle stunt riders take part in this ride to showcase their skills on the street's. The Street Fighterz a Saint Louis based stunt team started Ride Of The Century or ROC more then 10 years ago.

Weight forward, front brake, and a whole lot of throttle.
Once you get the wheel spinning, I'm guessing you control your speed with the front brake.

I fail to understand the appeal of doing wheelies and whatnot on a highway. Does it feel better to show off in front of your friends?
Riding in one of these groups sounds terrifying. I'm sure there a plenty of fine upstanding gentlemen (and ladies) that can get together and go on a street ride without causing a scene. But these idiots ruin it for everybody that is responsible.
Besides, riding a sportbike on an interstate is booooorrrriiiiiinnnnggggg. At the minimum find a back road to hit some turns on, at best find a track (and never ride on the street again).

Was just around St. Louis this weekend (St. Peter's), and saw a group of about 30 of them getting onto I-70 heading east. One guy popped a wheelie all the way down the onramp. What is law enforcement going to do about these groups, going forward? Seems like they have no good way of dealing with them, and they have no reason to stop doing what they're doing.
